Tom began his career as an actor. Several years later, he became the artistic director of a theatre in Los Angeles and won several Drama-Logue and Critics’ awards for directing. He directed and co-produced the world tour of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of Their Shells.” The show toured for more than two years, was translated into seven languages, and was seen by nearly a million children. Tom served as president and creative director at Maiden Lane Entertainment for 24 years and worked on many large-scale productions for clients including Harley-Davidson, Microsoft, Medtronic Diabetes, and dozens of others. Kangaroo is my Safe Word is Tom's fourth novel, following up on Justice Rules, a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest; The Siren's Scream, a Four Seasons Book Award winner; and The Edison Enigma. Tom was voted Author of the Year by the International Impact Book Awards for The Edison Enigma, and won Best Fiction from the same organization. The Edison Enigma also won Best Fiction from the Outstanding Creator Awards.
